Sheila Sales Treeby, 6-10-1966, passed away at her home in West Laramie, Wyoming, on August 31, 2026, at sixty years of age. A native of Saint Louis, Missouri’s Leduc Street, Sheila was a 1984 graduate of Kennard Navy ROTC Academy High School while working part-time at Children’s Hospital, Boatman Bank and as a summer intern at KMOX-KHTR-KLOU Radio Station where she became fond of making runs for their sports director, Jack Buck, a future hall-of-famer. A long-delayed nursing career was finally realized in 2012-2013 with an Associate Degree of Science, Sheridan College, membership in Phi Theta Kappa Academic Honor Society, a state CNA license and supervisor’s consent to LPN level wages. Sheila moved to Laramie in 2018 to pursue a double major in Nursing and Social Work from the University, but was slowed by congestive heart failure during the pandemic. Sheila is survived by her husband, Cameron E. Treeby; her mother, Cleola Sales, Buffalo, Wyoming; brother and sister, Willie Phillips and Veronica Phillips, both of St. Louis; sons Alexander Parks, Laramie, and Donovan Smith of Palmdale, California. A Committal Service will be held Friday, October 30, 2:00 P.M. at West Texas Veterans’ Cemetery in Lubbock, Texas. Memorial donations to: Outriders Ranch Dog Association, P.O.
