Farm Progress Show's Permanent Decatur, IL, Site Turns 20

This year's event celebrates 20 years since Decatur became the show's established home, alternating with Boone, Iowa, as the show's permanent locations. From its origins in Armstrong, Illinois, in 1953 to today's status as the nation's leading outdoor agricultural event, the Farm Progress Show continues to connect generations of farmers with groundbreaking technologies and solutions. The 2025 Farm Progress Show will continue to showcase comprehensive field demonstrations at the Decatur site. Corn was planted by mid-April to ensure optimal conditions for live harvesting demonstrations.
