Canadian Tractor Sales Down 7% in May, Combines Up 16% | Published on: Jun 19, 2025 Tweet Print Agri Marketing magazine reports: According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," total sales of all Canadian tractors during May 2025 were 2,304, down 7% from 2024. The sale of all tractors through May, 2025, were up 1% over last year. For the year, a total of 8,867, tractors were sold which compares to 8,775, sold in 2024. For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 11% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were up 8%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were up 3%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 12%. For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were even, while 40 & under 100 HP were even. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 7%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were up 36%. Combine sales were 184 in May, up 16%. Sales of combines for the year are 802 which is down 3%.
